Photography is my Passion.
I am not a portrait photographer, nor am I a lifestyle, event, landscape, travel, architectural, glamour, editorial, sports, or commercial photographer. I am an equal opportunity image hunter who never passes up an opportunity to make life more vibrant and gorgeous. I torture my equipment and I endure torrents of rain and gales of bitter cold to wrestle an image into submission without a vestige of guilt. Awards? Yes. I don't look back. Over the past few years, I have been gaining full control over light - dimming the sun at will during the day and releasing its power at night.
I picked up my first DSLR in 2010, but photography is not a means to an end for me – I have a full-time job that pays the bills and satiates the toy-cravings of my raucous nest of 6, 10, and 14-year-old daughters. My astonishing wife tolerates my endeavors and loves me tirelessly, so that I am free to confront the next photographic challenge. I always always learn by example and have drawn much inspiration from photographers who never bothered to learn the definition of 'impossible'. My aspirations are simple because I know that I can never be the world’s best photographer.
I am a photographer who makes the effort to be a little better today than I was yesterday.
